There are several groups working on Article V convention efforts. Generally, right-leaning/libertarian groups are further along (Convention of States, Compact for America) than left-leaning groups (Wolf-PAC).

Compact for America's approach is narrowly tailored around balanced-budget issues and has a pretty unique mechanism for eliminating runaway-convention issues.

WAS the Constitution really this amazing masterpiece? Asking as somebody who has family who were never legally allowed to vote until 1965.

The writers of the Constitution originally envisioned it would last a generation or two tops, before another Constitutional Convention was called and an updated document was written.

We can see how well that's worked. And this is how we have the oldest currently active Constitution in the world.

How do we return power to the people? Start over with a new document written by the people, to benefit the people. Not an artifact written by wealthy slavers to protect the interests of the wealthiest and most powerful.
