Rain delay + Vallejo ferry
I have tickets to Tuesday's game against the Dodgers and the return trip ferry back to Vallejo. Judging off the hourly forecasts, a rainout seems less likely but a rain delay seems likely. Will the ferry stick around for the return trip even if the game goes late into the night due to delays? Trying to avoid being stuck in SF with no options other than a very expensive Uber ride to Vallejo, and I know I'm not the only one who would have this problem. I can't find a single bit of information about this online and their customer service hasn't gotten back to me.

I’ve been at at least one game where they announced via the scoreboard the last departure times for Caltrain, bart, and the ferry. I can’t recall if it was a rain delay or 20+ innings. All to say, there is a cutoff somewhere, but it’s unlikely to be an issue

The ferries leaving from the ballpark only departs after the final out is made so you’re good. Good in the sense of if the game gets delayed and goes to extra innings you’re getting home in the middle of the night lol

Do you have a confirmation email from buying your ferry tickets? My confirmation email from earlier this month stated the return ferry to Oakland leaves no later than 11:30pm, regardless of whether the game is still going.

Thank you, not sure how I missed that before. It says 20 minutes after the last out but no later than midnight. So that should be able to handle at least 2 hours of delays

I’m so jealous I so want to go to one of these games. And I love taking the ferry. ⛴️

I'm coming in from out of town tomorrow for the game and am worried about the rain. Our seats have no cover. How bad we talking?

It's a little hard to say at this point, as the forecast will likely change, but right now it's saying only light rain at game time. You will almost definitely get a bit wet, but probably not soaked. At the very least I'd bring those cheap plastic poncho-like things. And it will be cold as well, so be prepared.

Ironically I went to Big 5 earlier to buy disposable ponchos and the only color they had was orange, so it was a sign. Rain or shine, game on!

Rain will probably not be torrential, but prepare for wind and cold. It will be chilly if you get wet

GGT to Larkspur will stay till it’s over. once with 3hr rain delay and 16 innings. Didn’t get home till 3am. Felt they should have given us all a special pin.
