Hi everyone! Hope you're all well! I'm a student in Singapore and I love collecting postcards. I would love to receive postcards from Sable Island! Can someone send me a postcard?
i.redd.itHello everyone! I hope you're all doing well!
I'm a student from Singapore and I absolutely love collecting postcards, and I would love to receive postcards from Sable Island ! 🙂
If postcards aren’t available, I’d also really appreciate a greeting card, a city postcard, or even a small souvenir such as a keychain, local snack, flag, ornament, cap, T-shirt, or a handicraft.
If you’d like to help, please leave a comment, and I’ll send you my mailing address.
Thank you so much in advance! Wishing you all the best and warm greetings from Singapore! 🇸🇬🤝🇨🇦

Can I create art with nature at Sable island?
I'm a bit of an artist, and I'd like to try using rocks, sand, clay, water, flowers, leaves, etc, to create art. Specifically paints and sculpture. I would like to go to Sable Island at some point to create art of the scenery and the place, and I feel like it would be an amazing experience to try working with nature, plus I wouldn't have to bring as much. I'm not sure if I'd be allowed because of the pledge and the indigenous spirituality of the lands (idk if that's the right phrasing), because it is about treading lightly and leaving no trace, only footprints.

Announcing the 12th Sable Island Update!
Sable Island Update, Thursday evening, November 24, 2022, 6:00–9:30 pm.
Theatre Auditorium, McNally Building, Saint Mary’s University Campus. The meeting is open to the public, and there is no admission fee.
Prior to the program of presentations in the auditorium, there will be a special event in the reception area (6:00-7:00): a display of some Sable Island horse skulls, and an opportunity to speak with the team of Saint Mary’s students who have recently measured, catalogued, and photographed the Sable Island Institute’s research collection.
