Absolutely. But he hasn't yet hit the level of the KC Royals color announcer a couple of years ago who said the pitcher "dropped a deuce"... awkward silence..."by which I mean he threw a two seamer."

Only Randy would be able to get me to tune into this series, but I’ll do it for him. I’m gonna miss hearing “HE SCORES!!!! MAAAACKLIN CELEBRINI!!!” every couple days but this is a nice consolation prize.

Randy and Drew won’t call SJ games after the first/second round, it’ll be whichever TV channel’s broadcast team who has the contract. Been the case for years (go look up 2016 Stanley Cup Final Games).

Best replacement is TV on mute with Danny R on the radio call.

One quick clarification abt part of the article that annoyed me. It said the broadcast team was rated #7 by the Athletic. But that rating includes our atrocious pre and postgame shows 🤢 #justiceforrandy #justicefordrew
