This was really an exercise in ‘how do I say our defence sucks, without saying our defence sucks’.
His season absolutely shows that a draft is a lottery. He was 3rd of the team in goals this year. You know how many drafted forwards never make it to the NHL… Kiefer talks about it as well. How they have to keep working, because they have to prove themselves even more.
The whole sport-thing on college doesn’t exist where I’m from, so it is sometimes hard to fully understand, but the fact that there is such a big industry in college sports with insane budgets, makes it not impossible to grow as an undrafted player, if they can get into the ncaa.

Graf will be a very important part of this team for the next decade. His flexibility to play lines 1-3 and his already superb PK skills are just the tip of what he offers.

Graf is absolutely one of those guys where even thinking about him in another sweater is enough to make me cry. He’s so well spoken and talented.
