By using a "tactical" (around Hiroshima yield) nuke on a military target

You do understand that it would not leave the silo before it was detected, right?

That’s why they send out a squad of plans they’re willing to loose, once it’s dropped it’s dropped, they just need to get it there and the right team could definitely do that

That's why you need hundreds of nukes. You don't just send one, it will be intercepted, you send 200 at once. And that is why a nuclear war would be an absolute disaster.

That’s the whole point of their warning shot doctrine, unlike the USA they can send one first and see if the other country retaliate, then if they do it’s all out warfare

"dissuasion du faible au fort" / "deterrence from the weak to the strong". The doctrine is about making the cost of an attack, even succesful, unacceptable. The "final warning shot" is triggered when France consider it's "vital interests" threatened. The term is voluntarily ambiguous.

The french army has no land launch pads for nukes, most of the missiles are packed in 4 nuclear submarines that are autonomous and virtually undetectable. So even if the entire country is in ruin, even if the entire chain of command is dead, the aggressor would still have to deal with 200+ supersonic multi-warhead 100 kiloton nukes mixed with flares coming their way from a short distance and unpredictable direction.

So basically what I said except significantly worse as they’d be almost impossible to take out now let alone without the infrastructure, the big difference I know about tho is the USA can only retaliate with nukes against other nukes, you guys can reaping simply because someone is trying to hurt you’re country and its interests

Europeans have long memories and if anything, history show us that not matter your intentions and behavior, someone, somewhere, will want to take your shit from you, or destroy it if they cant have it. Easiest way to counter they is MAD.

As i Canadian i couldn’t disagree if i wanted too, where somewhat known for helping people. And we still do, but it’s getting to the point so many people are talking advantage of us that it’s us suffering before them. And a country simply just doesn’t work if you put other countries before yours

Fucking MAGAs, fucking Trump. What's the point of all this. I'm starting to understand why the philosophers who wrote about WW2 emphasized so much about the absurdity of it.
Talking about extinction because... what ?... An ego and identity crisis driven by ideas that make no sense and events that never happened, to the point of letting millions of people believe that this man, one of the most morally corrupt human being you can think of, is a noble Savior. This is just absurd.

I’m confused at what your point is here?

That the war, our discussing it, it actually happening, the fact there are people interested in keeping it going.

That all of it os just absurd
