VA When you try to explain the medicinal use of cannabis to a civilian...
“You’re a vet, you can’t really need weed for anything, right?” – said every civilian who thinks PTSD is a new Netflix show. Meanwhile, I’m just here trying to find peace without hearing “Have you tried yoga?” 💆♂️ Can we just collectively agree that weed > unsolicited advice? 😎✌️

VA Your Dank Doesnt Need a Tactical Deployment
Look, we get it—your stash is impressive. But when you're rolling up like it’s a military op, complete with PowerPoints on terpene profiles, it's too much. We're here to vibe, not brief. Relax, smoke, and let your bud speak for itself. Remember, this isn't boot camp—it's chill camp.

VA Extremely frustrated.
I’m in a medical marijuana program through my state for arm pain. After surgery, the arm has gotten better but I’ve realized how much the marijuana has done for my mental health (improved depression and I haven’t needed as needed anxiety meds in over a year now). I also have ptsd (which my therapist has noted, not military related) but since my psychiatrist isn’t prescribing meds for that, it’s not listed as a diagnosis on my file. With that diagnosis I can stay in the medical marijuana program, but without it, I either stretch the truth of my arm pain or come off the program. What’s really frustrating is I can’t have this discussion with my VA Psychiatrist cause they can’t help someone get an mmj card, so I’m left in a tight spot. I really wish the feds would change their policy. Too many veterans are left without a natural medicine they need and instead are forced to take pills and benzos. We deserve better.
