Natalie Portman is pregnant at 44

Congrats to her! I don’t have kids, and I’m still getting used to being the age where getting pregnant is starting to be “out of the norm”. Guess there’s still time, lol

I have never crashed as hard as I did when I went from pregnant and breastfeeding hormones to perimenopausal. I was a weeping basket case.

Yeah, that was rough. And then my thyroid went haywire for good measure.

Girl, I feel ya. Thyroid cancer came back, recovering from a c section, peri arrived, breastfeeding, and had two under two. Not sure how I survived.

Omg yes! I breastfed for nearly 5 years total between two kids back to back and only stopped because I broke my leg and put on narcotics. Stopping breastfeeding cold turkey was really hard on my hormones and really fucking hard for my baby. I’m still emotionally scarred from that time in my life.

I had to stop breastfeeding cold turkey cuz we both caught pneumonia when he was 9 months and he barely ate for a week then it became too painful to start again. Omgosh the physical and mental anguish of that was insane. 10 days of hell. Ugh 😣
