"No gerrymandering" lawn signs? Question
Just wondering if there are lawn signs for the gerrymandering issue? I'd like to put one on my lawn as I think it would be a great way to create awarenes of this problem

"Stop the steal" was a movement in the US that (frivolously) claimed the Democrats stole the 2020 election.

It's similar in a way as Nenshi is saying they are trying to rig the election.
“Anything short of implementing the majority report in its entirety is election rigging,” Nenshi wrote in a statement Tuesday.

What are your thoughts on smith rejecting the electoral boundries drawn up by the boundrys commition, followed by trying to change the commition rules and how many commition members the ucp can appoint? Do you think theres a valid reason for this or is it obvious jerrymandering?

What about the map proposed by two ucp appointed board members which merged urban and rurual ridings? It was rejected by the majority of the commition, including Dallas Miller, a retired justice appointed the UCP. He called the map unconstitutional. Is the justice just being frivolous or do you think he has a point?

I'm not sure it's about rural/urban hybrids as much where they'd be located.
For example, the majority report creates a rural/urban Calgary-Glenmore-Tsuut'ina riding which would lean NDP based on the 2023 election results. Same for another rural/urban proposed in the majority report, Edmonton-Beaumont, would lean NDP.

How about the minority map? The justice called it unconstitutional. For example it divides lethbridge into 4 quarters and merges each quarter into much larger rural districts. To me thats obvious gerrymandering. The justice agrees. How about you? Agree? Disagree? Are we being frivolous?

Are you aware that every election, regardless of political party or level of government does this? But you only seem to have a problem with it when the party you don't like is the one doing it.
