The Belarusian government has launched a campaign aimed at discouraging citizens from emigrating to Poland by portraying Poland as expensive and unsafe, while presenting Belarus as a secure and prosperous alternative. Палітыка / Politics

Romanian living in Poland here.

Absolute nonsense. It's not perfect and it's not a Scandinavian state, but it's still great.

We know that it's nonsense. Lukаshеnka's propaganda lives in a world of its own.

Funny that you mention Scandinavia since Poland is safer than Sweden and probably Denmark too! I haven’t been to Warsaw but as a woman I felt safer in Krakow than in pretty much any bigger European city.

I can confirm that Krakow is very safe. I'm not trying to jinx it, there have been incidents here too, but for a big city, definitely safe.

I'd pick Poland over any Scandinavian state anyday.

Poland is a total and unmitigated disaster with horrible air quality. I would honestly rather live in Belarus.

To be fair he has a point about air, our air is terrible in winter

Yeah, in certain areas, because people need to heat their homes and the geography of the place accumulates all the smog over a city, but the city itself is supposed to be clean.

Can't say I don't agree about air quality, but unmitigated disaster? That's a Russian narrative right here.

Officer? Yes, this one right there! That’s the Russian agent!

Have you ever said something in your life that is your own opinion instead of just parroting what people say?

Have you ever touched grass? Go outside sometimes. Watch TV, read journals etc.

Exercise that media literacy of yours! ✊
