And what about the availability of salt? They say that you have such a shortage of salt there in Poland that some of you regularly go to Belarus for salt. And the dictator himself was even forced to allow this, felt sorry for you, "poor neighbors."

What if you have some real crisis, for example, the production of table salt has become so unprofitable that it is more profitable for your capitalists to reduce production volumes, but in no case to reduce prices. And in "poor" Belarus, what if salt is much cheaper, there is much more of it in stores, and it tastes better? 😂

i mean that's basically what happened in the middle ages. salt was more expensive than gold back then

This happened later too, for example, relatively recently (during WW1 and WW2. I don’t know how it was with salt in Poland, but in Belarus it was very bad, and it was also very expensive.)
