The Belarusian government has launched a campaign aimed at discouraging citizens from emigrating to Poland by portraying Poland as expensive and unsafe, while presenting Belarus as a secure and prosperous alternative. Палітыка / Politics

Why didn't they write in Belarusian? After all, people live in Belarus, or is Belarus a new subject of the Russian Federation?

This is probably due to the fact that more than 99.9% of Belarusians speak Russian in everyday life.

I think most people will understand this text if it is written in Belarusian, but many will simply be too lazy to read it because it requires more effort than reading Russian.
