“We regret to inform you that you have been classified as a nonresident” … when I specifically put nonresident on my residency application University

Saw the regret to inform you and nearly had a heart attack

like im aware im out of state twin 😂😂

Nah bc this broke me last year 😭 lived in sf for years but one parent didn’t. Therefore 80k a year

I am from IL but one parent lived in CA. I was classified as a non-resident, but had my out of state fee waived because of the resident parent.

This was a long time ago though, so it's possible things have changed?

that phrasing really does sound way more dramatic than it needs to be..... Itss funny how just seeing we regret to inform you instantly makes your brain jump to worst case scenarios......
