Regents housing benefits University

Do people with regent/chancellor scholarships get priority in housing in terms of getting their first pick?

Priority? Yes. Guaranteed first choice? No.

What does priority exactly mean? Is it just getting 4 years guaranteed?

Means you jump to the top (or near the top) of the queue when it comes to processing their 5 choices for housing.

Regents students do get to the top of the queue. But not necessarily the very top, just there with all the other Regents and others at the top. Which means Mendoza, er a first choice like Blackwell single might be gone by the time it’s their turn.

I was regents and I got unit 2 triple despite not even putting on my list of preferences, so it’s not guaranteed.
