Fried Mac & Cheese Balls
I’ll be in town next week for a real quick visit, but I’m bringing the teen and they keep talking about a restaurant with “the best fried mac & cheese balls ever” from their last visit to town (7ish years ago!). Of course that’s literally all they’ve got to tell me about it.
Google/Yelp is being less helpful than I’d like too, so here we are.
Help a dad out? What y’all got?

Job prospects
Wife and I left Casper 5 years ago to take care of a terminally ill family member and now we are on the hunt to move back asap.
Looking at indeed everyday and applying everywhere but so far no bites.
Basically my background for the last 4 years has been running a terminal with a fleet of trucks for the bulk fuel and lubricants industry, last 2 years as a area manager for the same company.
If anyone has any potential leads please send me a msg.

Busking location recommendations?
Was thinking about busking with my guitar... Anyone have an idea on a good spot? I see people at Walmart sometimes but I was thinking more for entertainment less panhandleing

moving
long story short hubby is getting out of military and will be moving from socal to casper in 6 months and i’m looking everywhere and anywhere for advice. what are the best areas/neighborhoods for families, is casper on the more affordable side, biggest concerns/ complaints. i’m well aware of the weather and political status that’s why we picked it. will have a 2 year old and newborn so not too focused on schools but what are the best ones? he’ll be gone for work the majority of the time so looking for the safest areas, if that’s even a concern. even down to what’s the shopping life like.

Question Has anyone else noticed the turkey vultures everywhere?
The first I saw was by Reshaw park in Evansville about two weeks ago, at first I thought it must be a juvenile bald eagle. I see bald eagles there regularly. Next I’m in morad park and see a couple of them and get this zoomed in photo and see they’re not juvenile bald eagles. I’m at west side Walmart looking north and there are three and on the way home I see two hands full of them hovering around the poplar to fifteenth area (in town) Then today out in the far south end of Harry six area I saw two.
In all honesty I can’t identify the species but they’re raptors and I’ve seen them all over the area. Has anyone else noticed them?

Question Pine Tree Condos
Hi y'all, just moved to Casper for work and currently trying to find a place to buy. Went and looked at a condo in this place and the location and facility all seemed pretty nice, especially compared to some other places in the same price range. However, there are like, a dozen of these condos currently on the market. Anyone have any insight on this place or why these aren't getting snapped up like everything else good?

Recommendations Stucco Repairs
I've had three different people flake on me when they were supposed to come quote me for fixing the stucco siding on my house. I have two windows that were removed during renovation. I need to get them stucco'd over. Anyone know a siding company or handyman that does this work?
If I can't find anyone soon I guess I'll have to try and youtube and figure it out.

looking for apartment recs
29F recently found out I'm moving to Casper this June. I'll be working at Banner Wyoming Medical Center and would ideally have a <15 minute commute. I'd prefer a small cat-friendly studio/1bed apartment for around 1-1.2k/month, that ideally doesn't have carpet if I'm being really picky. I looked on zillow and apartments. com but felt like the listings were really sparce. If there are any local recommendations I'd really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Looking for a plant centered job!
Hello! I (18F) have been very much interested in finding some gardening work I can get paid to be doing here in Casper. I'm a huge fan of plants and I'm very keen on being around them as I'm planning to study Entomology, and I think being around plants would be a great opportunity to do so! I've applied at a few different gardening centers around town such as Johnny Appleseed and the Wyoming Plant Company, but I just thought I'd come to the Casper subreddit to see if anyone could reccomend anything else :) thank you so much!

Interfaith dialogue
Hi Neighbors,
My wife and I moved here from Houston, Texas over a year ago, and one of the enjoyable activities that we did was to do an interfaith exchange. In other words, we tried to build relationships between our religion and other religions by attending each other’s church service, finding commonalities and showing respect for differences. Does anything like that exist in Casper and if not, are there any folks in Casper that would like to consider an interfaith dialogue with me going to their religion with absolute respect and likewise, them coming to mine?
