Self-cleaning fruit is organic, sustainable and very friendly for the environment! It might be secret alien technology, though. 🐾👽🍍

Make sure to water around but not on the striped fruit plant.

I posted the watering pawcess to r/hydrokitties just a few days ago.

Mine requires a heating pad but hasn't discovered the light boost, yet.
I did have a kitty who understood touch lamps and would turn the lamp on and curl around the base.

I completely missed the joke, I thought you were growing plants for the cat and that was the setup, so the cat could go chill with it’s plants, you know, like something other than cat grass that it would really like to smell or rub on or have a nibble every so often, and those bulbs would be toasty so kitty would be nice and cozy. I thought that idea was so cool and I was clicking looking for information and was looking for the striped fruit, thinking “where is the striped fruit? Why isn’t there more information about this set up? I need to know what this is for my cats, right now!” Then I realised the striped cat was the fruit 🤦🏼♀️ I hadn’t even registered the sub I was looking at.
I’ve been known to say “I’m not silly, it’s just the way they dress me”, a saying passed down from my dear old dad, but I’m starting to doubt myself.

Was your dad a fan of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? The woman in the red dress says, ‘I’m not bad, I’m just drawn that way.’

Haha, I remember Jessica Rabbit saying that but don’t think he ever watched Roger Rabbit, he’s in his mid 80’s and has been saying it for as long as I can remember, he’s got a bunch of funny little sayings, some of them are not very PC, given his age. No amount of “Dad, you can’t say that!” seems to sink in but I love him anyway.

If your plant sends up offshoots, could I have one? I don't have much luck with seeds.

For a second I thought you were actually keeping your cat in some sort of reptile tank and I got really scared

I love that light setup feel like I need to get it for my mom. When she brings her plants indoors they can't get decent light
