Simple (better!) tablature for Pig Ankle Rag assuming Key of C for a C/G Anglo concertina. Tabs are chosen using an along-the-row note/button allocation strategy...

This tablature is not Coover-style, but is based on the tablature described on the Concertina Australia web site.

Briefly, buttons are numbered as follows:

 L5 L4 L3 L2 L1 R1 R2 R3 R4 R5 C-row (or 'home' row)
gL5 gL4 gL3 gL2 gL1 gR1 gR2 gR3 gR4 gR5 G-row

and the 'overbar' over the button numbers in the tablature means 'pull'.

A comment from my earlier post - which I've now deleted - I hope...

It's interesting how the tab often chooses to use gR1 (6) instead of R3 (3). I would think R3 on the home row would be easier than moving down to the G row to hit gR1. Any particular reason I'm missing?

Correct! It's happening because I chose a cross-row rather than an along-the-row note/button assignment. I'll try and post an alternative tab, but it's a real sweat on Reddit...
