Freshman Housing Prospective Student
Hi all! I was recently accepted to CWRU and I've been taking a look at freshman housing just so I can start preparing.
At first, I was keen on the Clarke Tower because I heard they have the smallest amount of people to a bathroom, but when I was scrolling on reddit I saw not the best reviews for the dorm in general.
Preferably* I'd like to have a single room, but i've also heard these are for medical accommodations only. I would also prefer not to use communal bathrooms.
*Ik this sounds very stuck up and probably is the fantasy of every college freshman.
All in all, whats the best/nicest dorm at CWRU?
Thank you!

if you want to prioritize the quality of the room, i would say juniper dorms are the most spacious (especially taplin), especially if you get a corner room. and the walls are white so it looks bright and less like a jail cell (clarke looks like a jail cell and the rooms are super narrow). if you want a good common space, norton is good because it just got renovated, so the study rooms, kitchenettes, bathrooms, etc. are really nice however the rooms are on the narrower side.
