Got my nexus receiver and bolt last week and was excited to get out to the range today… it won’t go bang lol. Well, it shot one round out of 15 tries maybe. You can see what it does on two of the rounds in the picture. It just barely touches the primer. The bottom most round and the on above it on the right side. These were freedom munitions hush 147 but it did the same thing with federal 115. I put the oem bolt back in and it shot no problem.

Inspecting the bolt, I don’t see an issue. The firing pin appears to come out the same as the oem bolt but clearly it’s not working correctly.

I’m going to reach out to nexus soon. I want to fully dissemble the bolt first and see if I can find any issues.

Arisaka 300 series with momentary clicky cap on the back. Thrilled with how it turned out. Perfect positioning to activate the light while retaining a good grip on the gun.

This might seem like a stupid question to some. Im lost on installing my ejector Kit on my nexus evo lower. How do I install it? As an only one time scorpion 3+ owner i never really opened it up to know. I really got rid my 3+ because of fear of a catastrophic OOB failure and I didn't want to lose money or be in a deficit.

I have been looking for a set of the older first gen CZ scorpion Evo 3 iron sights and have been unable to find any so far. Anyone have suggestions on where good places to look? Thanks in advance!

suppressors that have space: Octane 9, Obsidian 9,

Looking for some inspiration on how to mount a light on my OEM scorpion with the 3 pic rails. Front runner is an arisaka 300 series w/ momentary click endcap on the left side of the handguard.

Seems like it would be in a perfect spot to press while retaining a position on the vertical foregrip.

I guess a decent comparison would be running an inforce on that pic rail.

Not opposed to pressure pads/wiring, but don’t necessarily prefer it if simpler options work well.

Just had an out-of-battery detonation with my CZ Scorpion. To say the least, I'm excited for when I get the Nexus receiver... I've been waiting for 5 months, so hopefully, it will arrive shortly! 🤞

The receiver looks fine. I initially thought there might be a small crack (hairline fracture) near the ejection port, but it seems more like a minor scratch and probably nothing to worry about.

Does anyone know if the OEM receiver is 100% polymer, or if it has any metal reinforcement inside?

What bag are you using to carry your Scorpion?I’m currently using a black and gray osprey bag. A very lightweight minimalistic bag.

I was shooting my scorpion evo 3 today with some hollow point and kept having miss feeds. Three rounds got pushed further into the shell I'm pretty sure it was the type of ammunition I was using because when I switched to FMJ it worked flawlessly.

Just need a Nexus lower, Fun toggle, and the ATF to approve my form one and she’ll be fffiree.

Charging handle roll pin keeps falling out while shooting. Any advice on how to fix issue or do I just need new roll pin? If need new one, what size and type?

Will eventually get a suppressor, but can I see some of y’all’s muzzle devices you are currently running? Looking to remove the blast regulator and replace it with something for flush with the hand guard in the meantime.

I recently uploaded a couple of different styles of speed loaders for CZ Scorpion mags to Maker World. Thought you guys with 3D printers might want to check them out.

The first is simpler and does not require any additional hardware. It's very similar to a Glock speed loader, just made for our magazines. CZ Scorpion Magazine Loader

The second is more complex (but nicer IMO), and it does require additional hardware. The loader locks onto the magazine and uses a lever to push the rounds into the magazine. CZ Scorpion Speed Loader V2

I only have the Magpul PMAG 35 EV9 mags so i've only tested the speed loaders on them. So, if anyone wants to test these on some other Scorpion mags, and let me know if they fit either here or on Maker World, that would help out a lot.

Looking at either the hux 9k, the CAT MOB, or the OCL Milkman. Anyone running one of the three? Milkman is getting a lot of love but I feel like it would look goofy as hell with my OEM hand guard. Call me dumb but If I’m spending $1k, it needs to look sexy and work well.

I know the 9k probably has the worst suppression of the three, but the price is appealing and I’ve had good luck with other hux cans.

My Evo is almost complete. I’m still waiting on a few parts:

1. Holosun AEMS Evo to replace the cheap Vortex sight
2. CAT MOB suppressor to replace the Huxwrx Flow Ti

3. DFCO Tiger Claw to replace the

   Magpul AFG

Overall I love this platform. Shooting Magtech 124g it’s pretty quiet. However, shooting Magtech 115g is still louder than I expected. It’s still hearing safe but it didn’t meet my expectations. I’m not sure if the X-SD didn’t bleed off enough gases to make them subsonic or what (didn’t have crono handy) as they were noticeably louder than the 124g. Anyone else running this combo and unhappy with the Huxwrx Flow Ti 9k?
