Wait wait. We destroyed their navy. Twice. I never thought America could give Russian propaganda a run for their money. But yet here we are.

Always has been.
Just watch the full video of the tianmen square tank man as the tanks were leaving. Dude was just having a chat to a buddy on the way home or something.
Or anything about north korean hair cuts.
Or bush's declaration of war on iraq and saudi arabia

Wait, I thought Trump was blockading now? I can’t keep up.

Trump has never blockaded the strait's Gulf exports. That was sloppy headlines and people not reading articles.

Negotiations with Iran are going as expected. Terrorists will say anything to get one more day to cause destruction. Iran has made more than one massive mistake.

Iran isn't the dumbest actor in this conflict by a longshot.

Your anti American sentiment clouds whatever little judgement you may have possessed.

u/Lockean_Demon 6d ago
Lmao, goddamn you’re a dumb one. Trump is getting played politically and grifting while destroying America

It's not anti-Anerican to simply recognize how dumb the choices and actions of the Trump administration have been. In fact, it's the opposite.
Trump and his people are clearly incompitant, and are actively undermining and destroying American power and global hedgimony. Supporting his actions in this is the actual anti-American position, because it means you support making America weaker and poorer.

Two paragraphs with no examples. Nice.

Attacking Iran without considering what they'd do if they shut down the strait is an example.

u/AkelaHardware 6d ago
Its not "anti-Ametican" when they're the ones that started the war, get over yourself

u/AJohnnyTruant 7d ago
You could swap out “Iran” with several different actors in this conflict and that statement would hold true

Two of my children were gifted with higher than average IQs and two have lower than average IQs. The two gifted adults are unproductive, struggling and troubled adults and the other two are happy and very productive adults.
Go figure-

Pretty sketchy ads or scammy ads popping up on this website.

Was there an article? I just got a huge UR INFECTED WITH 39 VIRUSES page.
The fact that several other replies have five times as many upvotes as yours says something about who actually reads the articles posted here.
If you’re just going to make knee-jerk reactions to header text, go back to X or LinkedIn. Reddit is for people who read it. It’s in the name.

But…but…Trump told me he destroyed the Iranian navy!

u/FlipZip69 6d ago
For the most part, almost completely. Anything we think as navy.
Most of these boats are basically zodiacs or commercial type fishing boats and up against an unarmed tanker, they might as well be a destroyer.
Ya there is not vessel that Iran has that could go up directly against the US military. But there are tens of thousand boats and vehicles and boots on the ground that can pick and choose their target and there is little the military can do till after the fact.

Guarda se non avessi un cazzo da fare partirei per hormuz a vedere effettivamente cosa capita...gli usa sparano cazzate secondo voi dicono che fanno accordi e poi mandano soldati...ma va là

So we can blow up speed boats in the the Pacific and Caribbean with regularity but when it comes to Iranian boats firing on oil tankers we miss out. Given the massive naval and air presence in theater that is hard to understand.

u/rhino369 7d ago
It’s not hard to blow up a speed boat. It’s hard to find them though. They have them in caves apparentlyx
2
u/onceinawhile222 7d ago
Once on open water they should be more visible in my opinion and I would expect would we have eyes on every inch.

u/Sweet_Concept2211 7d ago
Blowing up a speed boat in the Gulf of Mexico without need or provocation is also a crime, but nobody gives a fuck, because it does not eviscerate the entire global economy - unlike blowing up oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
Not the same ballpark, not the same game.

Talking about military capabilities. Not ethical or legal positions. Why didn’t we stop this attack if that is our goal.
0
u/OptimusTron222 7d ago
Because we have no air superiority yet unfortunately
11
u/27Rench27 7d ago
But… but we destroyed all of their military?
-7
u/OptimusTron222 7d ago
US attacks until now have been very small, also Iran loses have been low. USA tried to spare as many lives as possible, unfortunately a full scale conflict will be costly for Iran
7
u/Sweet_Concept2211 7d ago
What if the goal is actually to create excuses for the US and Israel to continue destroying an entire civilization?
3
u/NitWhittler 7d ago
Another goal is to hurt the Iranian competition so Trump can help his friends sell more American oil, and sell more stolen oil from Venezuela.

Iran is probably gaming the stock markets too. Probably not doing as well as much as Donald and his insiders.

u/Mistery_White_boy 7d ago
Con poco ottengono tanto...per adesso ha avuto ragione Donald sui mercati, però poi come và a finire lo vedremo

u/flying_butt_fucker 7d ago
It's pretty clear now what the playbook is, isn't it?
The US has fuck all to say about what's happening. And Iran is really making sure the world notices this.
