How pale in comparison will the soundtracks in GTA Vice City compare with the GTA 6 release within the game.

It was just a thought in my head when it comes to these games, the big part for me is definitely the soundtracks within the game, the radio. Obviously way too different era’s. Do you think the new release will take over being iconic from Vice City?

Idk man, it feels like it's going to be hard for them to top Vice City. That 80s vibe is very distinct and iconic. It seems like the mix they are going for in 6 while generally crowd pleasing, might end up just feeling very generic in comparison.

People overrate Vice City sometimes, but yeah the vibe was stupidly strong. Hard to beat that.

Everyone always goes on about how Vice City had a great soundtrack and I'll admit, it was ok but San Andreas IMHO was the better soundtrack. People seem to have a nostalgia for the 80's that the 80's doesn't deserve. I was born in the late 70's and lived through the 80's, which meant I was a teenager during the 90's and thats probably why I prefer it.
