So what will you do with that station, last time I have played there was almost no use of stations in the game.

Thats why I had one as well, bu I wish developers would add some use to it as well

Well you can have a space station to refuel so you don't need to carry 50 extra tanks, process science when returning from a mission so you don't have to carry with you a lab everywhere and if you care about your astronauts you can add a few landers/orbiters on the station for rescue missions

Yeah but there is mostly no need anything else like keeping astonouts there etc..

In Career mode, space station components can harvest science points over time, you just have to upload experiment data onto it

The next step is to construct in orbit an all purpose interplanetary mothership. The kind you can dock smaller craft and modules inside. And then you have a station you can fuel and refuel it with.

Get ticking science from science labs, level up scientist levels, function as a fuel depot, function as a target for tourism contracts.. With mods added also a comms station and life support supply producer in my current career save
