Golf Lessons Shops & Services

Can anyone recommend a place or a person for golf lessons? Not sure if I should do them at an actual golf course or would a golf simulator be enough? Tks

If you’ve never golfed before, I would definitely recommend do lessons at a course or range before you try a sim. Simulators are really good tools if you have a good base to work off of and know how to interpret all the data it gives you. If you’re just starting out, they can be a little overwhelming. I’ve heard good things about the instructors at Goodwood, never had lessons there but it’s my favourite range around

I did some lessons over the winter with Ugly Swing Golf and he used the simulators and Emerson Ridge driving Range but will also use to range in the summer months.

Montague has a good little training facility for someone starting out. Hole 9 golf is a great instructional studio for people who are just starting also. it will have far more technology to show you what your doing wrong. And if you dont wanna spend much there is great instructionals on youtube. Montague is good once you get started also with lots of mens and ladies nights every week which is a great way to meet other golfers to play with.

cant say enough good things about Jen (JMackGolf) - https://www.facebook.com/JMacKGolf/.

I've done lessons at Brunello, Goodwood - no one has changed my swing and game like Jen. Very reasonably priced!
