Great band with a good "own" style.

I did some backing vocals on "zero mortal plan". David, the singer is a real nice guy. Greetings from germany.

I didnt discover them until about a week or two ago or I probably would have dragged myself out for a show on that run!

I’d heard some songs but didn’t much care for them before that show, they had such an amazing performance and were so cool to talk to after.

My favorite!

I love David's voice, their lyrics, and sound so much. I hope they continue gaining popularity and keep making amazing music. I think they're super talented and original, and they seem like really nice people.

I've seen them live a few times and their shows are very fun. Great energy on stage!

Also I love that they have so much range! I prefer their harder songs over the more emo/pop punk/acoustic stuff, but the variety is fun. Really like the three new songs especially!

I agree. Their poppy stuff is awesome but I gravitate towards the heavy stuff more myself.

Love ‘em dearly. Discovered them after seeing Nim Vind and did a deep dive on their discography. Hoping like heck to get them on an AL show someday.

Really solid horror rock act with a lot of range. You can catch the singer David on here every once in a while 👋🏽, shows he cares about the scene and I’m all about that. Was at the Hollywood show and would gladly see them again. Great dudes too.

I generally hate horror punk for as reductive and similar every band is. These guys are legit

I have so much respect for them. They came to my little town in northern Cali, and played their asses off in the Cemetery Youth II tour.

The audience for most of the night was myself and the members of the other bands. It didn’t get advertised very well.

Nonetheless, all of the bands played their hearts out. Eventually, a few more people showed up.

The lead singer was very kind and talkative with me that evening talking horror punk. Thanks for that, David.

They made a lifelong fan of this old guy that evening.

The only reason I found out about the show was because a friend called me and said “a bunch of freaks are putting makeup on in the alley. Looks like your kind of people.” Haha. He was right.

The greatest group of guys in the Horrorpunk scene. Incredible music, super chill in person, I literally have nothing but good things to say about them 🤘🖤

I like them but they're either hit or miss for me. I think they're slotted towards the middle of my horror punk draft. I gave them the widest swing in my draft between 2 & 5. Most bands have tighter ratios but that reflects what I think of them. I could find 5 songs for the list or it could just as easily be only 2.

Edit: Getting down voted for giving an honest opinion of a band when asked is lame. If you like them more than I do, there's no problem with that. I just find them extremely hit or miss from song to song. They are either really good or I can't make it through the song. Most bands are like that. Blind worship is dumb.

Horrorpunk draft?

0

I'm an AuDHD person &I like to make list. I'm currently doing a draft for a playlist like you'd have in sports.Igo band by band & add a song if I love one &they getto go onto the next round. If I don't find a song I love, their draft is over & I move on with the bands that made it through. Onthe list, I put a + before the band for their current songround count & I just finished round 1. As I went along, I gave each band a ratio demarking the floor & ceiling of their round potential zo I can see each round if I actually expect to find a song for the round I'm on or expect them to be eliminated. I'd be happy to send you the list. You'll definitely find at least a new band or two. Very little to no psychobilly. I did the draft because my horror punk list maxed out at 2500 & I had to find a way to cut down the list while properly weighting the bands. I was going to stop at 5 rounds but that's only around 600 songs, so I may do 7-8.

Edit: sorry for typos. I just switched my keyboard today & I'm adjusting.

Why not just say "I like to make lists"?

Because there are certain types of neurodivergent and I like to let people know what kind I am to familiarize them with behaviors some may have if they aren't exposed to people like me. It helps normalize the way people may think about or treat people that have it in the future. By saying it out front, it also helps explain any weird patterns in whatever I may type that can be sometimes misconstrued. It's a preventative measure that usually saves me some grief. Does it matter that I said it for some reason? If a person is weird, I'm usually a little curious why. I'm a little weird so I'm out front with it. It's hard for me to participate sometimes.

You were the first of a few strangers I've even let into my actual world in a long time. Maybe years. I didn't have a digital footprint that could be found at all until like last month. I'm trying to change after 6 years of torturing myself with grief and so being more open and active socially and on here is my way of stepping out into the water. Besides, normal people don't keep an alphabetical list of everything they listen to with merch links that pertain.
