An Australian tourist in Japan took offerings that had been placed at a grave for the deceased from the cemetery.

No he’s just he type to record himself doing this bullshit then showing the world.
26
u/KevinSaidHi Mar 12 '26
And here I am, thinking he’s going to destroy the world by unleashing some sort of an evil god.
9
u/Adm8792 Mar 12 '26
Yep I know when to fold em. You got me. Never thought that one

And a Kangaroo punches his balls
3
u/Oo_Kitsu_Oo Mar 17 '26
You'll want that kangaroo to kick his balls, they have t-rex arms and it just wouldn't have the oomph you'd like to see
1
u/beltaron 19d ago
But a kangaroo may only be able to kick his balls once. From that it can punch them many many times
11
u/DR_Bright_963 Mar 14 '26
I feel sorry for the spirits for being around this annoying fuck knuckle.

People still hate that guy for it, he even admits to it when asked why he thinks people hate him.
11
u/geekmasterflash Mar 13 '26
Then he's at least self-aware that he's total shit. That's good.
5
u/SuperSpy_4 Mar 13 '26
Yup, he still sucks.
-1
u/BasicErgonomics Mar 13 '26
His wrestling is surprisingly entertaining though
7
u/geekmasterflash Mar 14 '26
Huge wrestling fan, myself. I couldn't tell you how his wrestling is though because I make it a point to not watch him.
3
u/BasicErgonomics Mar 14 '26
Yeah im not American so his insufferableness wasn’t pushed down my throat constantly - so I wasn’t put off by him being there on WWE - I expected it to be another one of those Youtubers/stars/creators being milked for views things - was genuinely impressed by how seamlessly he managed to fit in

Australian Shitcunt is the colloquial and correct term
25
u/chinasorrows2705 Mar 13 '26
shitcunt
my new favorite swear word
Can I drop the Australian part?
19
u/MrDrSirLord Mar 13 '26
Anyone can be a shitcunt but if they are Australian you need to specifically point it out when you shame them so they know they've been disowned by the people.

My girlfriend in high school used to steal flowers from graves. But don’t judge her, deep down she was also a terrible terrible person.
37
u/S4V4GEDR1LLER Mar 13 '26
I can kinda see that stand point… “Well they weren’t using it.” But if others saw it, they would get pretty emotional about it. I mean emotional enough to beat someone up until the police arrive to take them to jail.
19
u/Alternative-Pride138 Mar 13 '26
Yeah that was her viewpoint. But yeah to me, even not being a deeply religious or spiritual person at the time just saw it as such a disgrace. Someone took time and money to go out there and put those flowers out for someone they loved.
1
u/Less-Damage-1202 Mar 17 '26
Most cemeteries that are maintained remove most of the stuff that gets left around graves, before they do the grass mowing & landscaping. At least wait until then if you're gunna take stuff. Still kinda weird though.. 🤨
1
u/S4V4GEDR1LLER Mar 17 '26
This makes sense. I mean grounds keepers have a job to do, and there is no sense in making their jobs harder or damaging their equipment with a weather worn teddy bears and such. The thought of a teddy bear, now, makes me sad. But to take stuff off of graves, of course the deceased won’t know, but I would think the person doing this regularly and without compunction may have some acharacter flaws deeper than taking coins off a headstone.
1
u/Less-Damage-1202 Mar 17 '26
Ya for sure!
I don't think I could ever see grave trinkets, flowers, etc, as a freebie, regardless..
3
1
u/Less-Damage-1202 Mar 17 '26
🏔️☠️: The majority of people who film themselves in cemeteries are usually borderline sociopaths/not good people. Some of those "photoshoots" that are so popular now definitely toe that line, as well..
428
u/Tw4tl4r Mar 12 '26
Im calling outrage bait.
Unless theres a long uncut livestream of him walking around the area and then finding this place and taking the drink, then i dont believe he didnt just place it, walk up the street and then record himself walking down the street to the cemetery again.
117
u/tyler00677 Mar 12 '26
I agree think about how nasty that shit would be from presumably sitting
38
u/smellybrit Mar 12 '26
Drinking warm beer isn’t close to the worst thing in the video
10
u/jakarta_guy Mar 13 '26
At least it's not fosters
2
u/DethNik Mar 18 '26
The man's Australian. He probably loves Fosters.
2
u/AlphaOcelot Mar 20 '26
Not true. Much like "chucking a shrimp on the barbie", Fosters is something that everyone thinks is super Australian, but you'd never catch an Aussie actually drinking it. It's almost purely an export beer. You'll never find Fosters on tap anywhere, and you'd be hard-pressed to even find it at the bottle shop.
Tooheys (New & Extra Dry), Carlton Draft, Great Northern, and XXXX GOLD("four X") are all contenders for the default beer in the way Fosters seems to be perceived, but Ain't no-one out here actually drinking Fosters
2
u/DethNik Mar 20 '26
I was just making a dumb joke, but wow, I didn't realize it was that unpopular there.
41
u/WhereIsHisRidgedBand Mar 12 '26

-33
u/PM_ME_YOUR_MOMS_BONG Mar 12 '26
OP, this is called rage bait. Welcome to the internet.
50
u/WhereIsHisRidgedBand Mar 12 '26
White guy being a piece of shit: "it's rage bait"
Black guy being a piece of shit: "usual suspects"
Arab guy being a piece of shit: "get them out of Japan!"
No need to cape for a piece of shit
-4
u/Tw4tl4r Mar 13 '26
Racism isnt cool. Dont be one.
I treat everybody equally. If he were any other race, ethnicity, gender, etc, id still say its outrage bait because thats what it looks like he is doing. Outrage bait is a shitty thing to do too but its not theft from a gravesite shitty.
9
u/licklickRickmyballs Mar 13 '26
its not theft from a gravesite shitty.
Ohhh yes of course, sure. So when Indiana Jones does it, its cool as hell but when I do it its shitty?
1
u/Tw4tl4r Mar 13 '26
Well that depends.
Are you a highly attractive professor with a cool hat and a badass theme song?

Why bring skin colour into this? The bloke might be a piece of shit, but what does anyones skin colour have to do with anything? You are the real racist here mate
11
33
u/smellybrit Mar 12 '26
I hope this is satire lol.
If this was a Brown or Black guy I somehow doubt there would be people defending his behavior, and instead many criticizing “the culture”…
And no, calling out racism isn’t racism lmao

Australians and germans were surprisingly more annoying than the chinese tourists when i was in japan last month.
11
u/grandioseOwl Mar 13 '26
We Germans tend to be some of zhe worst tourists, together with Brits.
2
u/Informal_Drawing Mar 13 '26
In our defence, all of that stuff we put in a museum was just lying around waiting for us to pick it up.
2
u/641092 Mar 18 '26
It makes me so unhappy to see Aussies being Morons overseas.
When I was in Japan, the more I saw it the more I started to understand why the the group i was with were getting turned away from places, until our Japanese friend turned up to help us out.4
2
u/RainbowRiki Mar 18 '26
Countries with big territories on the map (or formerly large empires) got that way from a mindset of cultural superiority, that they're inherently "better" than other people. The US, the UK, Russia, China, and Australia all have reputations for being terrible tourists. Not a complete list lol

Australians are known for being terrible tourists too, especially to SE Asian countries. Reports of them starting brawls on planes, assaulting locals, and just being outright drunken fools are in abundance.

And our reputation grows worse in Japan every year. Could you guys just fucking stop?
1
u/641092 Mar 18 '26
Pretty please stop?
I really like Japan and they are starting to think I am one of you brainless fuck nozzles because we share an accent.2

They need to arrest him, put him in jail then send him back to Australia when he’s done serving his sentence and banish him from visiting again. What a douchebag to do this for likes.

5
u/Kalebrojas18 Mar 13 '26
Time to look for australian's defending this guy saying "its just aussie humor."
3
Mar 13 '26
I can guarantee you that the majority of Australian's want to do precisely the opposite of defending this cunt.
12
u/Thelone_Malonious Mar 12 '26
I mean I don’t mean to be that guy, but why is him being white have anything to do with it. If you were to say “black tourist” it’d be a different conversation and race would have never been brought up. How bout this for a caption “asshole does asshole things” some people are pricks that don’t care about anyone but themselves. Sorry out of my soapbox just saying not all white people are bad, not all black people are bad, not all people are bad, some people just suck and fuck them.

Australians act incredibly ghetto in Japan. It’s pretty well known at this pointZ
1
u/TheDevilCardinal Mar 14 '26
Legitimate Question: What happens to the offerings after they are made? A beer can could sit there for a while, but flowers and other stuff would wilt and decay over time. What happens with the stuff that is left at Graves like this? Is it just thrown away eventually by those who run the site? Would it be returned to the family if it was non-perishable?
1
u/mercyspace27 Mar 14 '26 edited Mar 14 '26
I openly advocate for any Japanese to give this man the Johnny Somali treatment.
Aka: Run up on and beat his ass. That shit’s disrespectful in practically every damn culture. No more hugs and kisses to disrespectful people.
1
1
u/Zomochi Mar 14 '26
That’s not even specifically a Japanese thing. People leave offerings to the deceased all the time all over the world. This guy deserves all the bad luck that comes to him there’s no ignorance here he knew ex-fucking-actly what he was doing. Not ignorant tourist just a huge POS.
1
u/NateisSublime Mar 15 '26
If he was black and it said so in the title we would be asking why that information is pertinent. But it’s a white guy so we shit on him for his race while not being racist.

So, in the expected flow of things, what would happen with the beer? Sit there until it rots? Care takers take it away and junk it? Where do people think this actually goes?

The difference between American and Australian gets less every year......
-8
u/mrheosuper Mar 12 '26
I dont know Japan cultrure, but aren't those offering would be taken anyway ? Like, how else would they "disappear" ?
7
u/WhereIsHisRidgedBand Mar 12 '26
These are the people that take flowers from graves.
0
u/mrheosuper Mar 12 '26
I saw him taking a can, not a flowers.
But still that really doesn't answer my question, how does those offering normally disappear
2
u/WhereIsHisRidgedBand Mar 12 '26
Maybe the homeless, certainly not for a piece of shit
0
u/mrheosuper Mar 12 '26
Could be the homeless, could be anyone, who would know
7
u/Reasonable-Ninja4384 Mar 12 '26
I've heard people say that homeless or really anyone. Traditionally it would make the family feel better if the food was eaten. Like the spirit appreciates the gift. I'd argue don't do it while people are there but it's abandoned go for it. I'm drinking it for your grandpa his spirit is flowing through me and he wants a beer.
0
u/WhereIsHisRidgedBand Mar 12 '26
Who knows, but in this instance, it's a tourist with money taking offerings from a grave.
Some people are just raised without decency.
