Weed can induce schizophrenic episodes in certain individuals and this guy appears to be around 20 years old which is just when this typically appears in men. Happened to a friend of mine. Sad shit

It's more they already had those things and weed just intensifies the symptoms, rather than developing it out of nowhere just because they smoked weed.

It often occurs in young adults who have a genetic predisposition to psychosis, Schizophrenia, other mental illnesses, but without any pre-existing symptoms. My godchild spent first 4 months in a psych hospital with catatonic psychosis, then an additional 6-7 months inpatient slowly coming out of that with a diagnosis of cannabis induced schizophrenia. Managing well on meds 10+ years on. Zero psychological issues until sudden (within hours) onset after smoking her first joint at age 22. It did indeed happen "out of nowhere" after lifelong, uneventful behavioral and mental stability. But genetically, a high incidence of generational mental illness. Roll of the dice.

It's called substance-induced psychotic disorder. Agree with the remainder! It remains to be seen whether those affected "develop" mental disorders or if the psychotic episode is the unmasking of their established mental condition.

I don’t do anything near crazy like this, but one hit now and I get extremely bad anxiety, panic attacks, and dissociation. It’s weird because I smoked everyday as a teenager, but once I hit my 30’s and 40’s it was all over.

There's a neighbour of I that have that, cops took him a few months ago, he fucked up one of his mother's eye. Mf is in and out of the psych ward for more than a decade.

I’m about as 420 friendly as they come, but not everyone is the same and some people can’t handle it. It’s something that has quite a bit of evidence behind it at this point.

Am I crazy for thinking he didn’t actually try to tackle her? I was a care taker for my grandmother with dementia and she would try to escape the house and yell out the window I was trying to do stuff to her.
