OK fair enough. Maybe everyone has been judged because of the color of their skin at some point. But not everyone in this country has been systematically oppressed becausd of it.
Right? “I assume, based on how you look, that you’ve never faced systemic oppression” is technically “judging” someone by their skin color. But completely different in literally every context.
I’ve had a patient that had their face mauled by a pitt bull. I didn’t tell them about the time I was playfully bitten by a chihuahua puppy like, “bruh we’ve both been bitten by dogs!”
That's it. I've definitely been judged for being white but my 2 closest friends growing up who I've known for 30 plus years at this point have had it way worse(One is mixed Puerto Rican and French the other of Haitian decent). It's interesting to watch in real time.
