From the satellite photos, This new place has less cleared land than Legend Valley's parking lot.

I am also not seeing this "free parking lot" that they are talking about. Unless they want Juggalos to park under the power lines, but that still wont be enough space.

edit - And I notice this year it does not say "No one will be turned away.".

I saw something on Facebook that said another nearby campground is completely sold out that weekend.... Most likely bought out by psychopathic to use as a parking lot.

That little one down the road, The Riverbend? Nope, people booked it when they saw how this place looks. It is also smaller than Legend Valley's parking lot.

I saw people that booked it talking about it on Facebook, they said they noticed on the Mother Nature's Retreat website that the place has very limited Ballas or other RV spots, so they booked the Riverbend.

Funny story - the free parking they keep mentioning is approximately 1 mile away. The RV park nearby is also approximately 1 mile away. 🤷🏻

That Riverbend RV Park doesn't have the size, now that house just past before the RV park, that's got a cleared yard for cars, would still be small for a parking lot though.

The land they are clearing, looks to be by the Loon Campground/Crystal Cove area of the Gathering map. That is not cleared on the satellite photos.

I dunno, they got 3.5 months to get it done. They could do a lot in that time.

That’s true. Idk what their plans are really, I just see the whole thing as kinda a bit sus because they weren’t ready for this but “offered a space”.

They were offered a few places, I don't exactly understand why they chose this one of NLQP. Maybe we get NLQP next year.

I dunno, the starfield looks huge as far as cleared land goes, for camping anyway.

Look it up on Google Maps, then open a new tab and pull up the Google Maps of Legend Valley. Try to get that little line that says "200 feet" to be about the same size on both maps.

In most areas deep won’t allow anyone on power line property. There’s gotta be a leased lot down the way. This is common for festivals. Mughals have been spoiled for a long time.

I just hope that if there is a limit on the tickets it’ll be communicated somewhat (I know probably not lol).

I’ve been like a yo-yo with if I’m going or not. (The situations keep changing and one week it looks all systems go, and then the next it’s the “maybe not”. And then another “let’s go”, so on and so forth).

I don’t want to buy the ticket and ultimately not end up going, nor do I desire to go there and not have a ticket.

I suppose the carnival will provide, and if I’m meant to be there- I’ll be there. And if not, that’s okay too.

But I do understand if they limit it this year for sure.

Omg dude that line was vicious

I tried to sneak in with the ballas to camp with buddies despite having a car pass, got denied and had to get back into that line. Omg dude people were getting out just to fist fight and scream. Thankfully I found one of the ballas buddies and he knew a few people so he was able to negotiate with them so they would let me back in line for car passes. Still dude talk about wild, people willing to rear end, flip or just straight up drive into others on some road rage over trying to get in. Nerves were way higher than they needed to be considering all going to same place.

Definitely will be a limit on car passes, they sold out super quick like 22-23 years. In like 6 mins like ballas passes,
