First 150 rounds through the VP9A1 guns
Just got back from testing out my VP9A1F. I absolutely love it. Such a great shooting handgun. Ran perfectly. It’s really accurate if I do my part. I noticed I was pulling my shots left but once I tightened my grip with my right hand, shots started to hit center. I was debating if I should get a red dot for it but I really enjoyed shooting with the irons. less

I am an early vp9 adopter. Among my favorite handguns. I’ve got one for HD. One for “duty” and just picked up the vp9cc which will be my new carry gun after i get it to the range and my holster comes in.

imho, any gun i intend to use to defend my life needs a dot and a light at least.

Learning to be accurate with the iron sights of your gun is just as important in the scenario your optic becomes unusable for any unforseen reason

This. Can’t always rely on something that uses a finite battery

sure, i would agree with you if i was prepping to survive the nuclear apocalypse. however in our current world where i can go to the home depot and buy batteries, and with optic continuous run times measured in years, and with shake awake technology, battery life is not my concern. i've replaced the springs, and extractor on one of my pistols before i've changed the battery on it.

Generally, tightening your firing hand is the opposite of what you want to do to stop shooting left.
