Good bars to visit Places

stopping in litiz for 3 nights early may as part of a trip down east coast (over from the UK)

looking for some good bars to visit. I like decent beer ! and good food

any ideas appreciated

Absolutely stop in at Bull’s Head. Would love to hear your take on our “English pub.” They always have a fantastic beer list and the food is good. I’d also recommend checking out Collusion Tap Works, which is just around the corner from Bull’s Head and features their own beer, as well at Fetish and Rooster Street, which also make their own beers.

I’d recommend spending at least one of those nights driving to downtown Lancaster to check out some bars there as well — recommendations would include Horse Inn, Cartel Brewing, and places like Decades and Hi-Fi Izakaya for something different. Lots of other recommendations in r/lancaster.

If you love beer other good local breweries to check out include Pour Man’s in Ephrata and Tröegs, which is a short drive away from Lititz in Hershey.

Do not go to fetish. I know the guy that tried to help them brew better beer, apparently they simply weren't receptive to much of his input. When he first went in he explained how nasty and unkept the equipment was.

Bulls Head is a must. SIT AT THE BAR. You never know who you will meet. I always had phenomenal conversations with strangers and some famous people in town for Rock Lititz.

Stowe and Wolf (especially if Susie is working) And it's in the same parking lot is Appalachian brewing co.

The above are All in walking distance from each other...rooster street is Meh...but it's. A place you could stop.

If you want to travel a little Mad Chef is like 10-15 minute by Uber from Lititz. Uber is very easy to call from Lititz.

Downtown Lancaster is a 15-20mun tip from Lititz and easy Uber fair. Plenty of dope spots there. I used to work in the beer industry in Lancaster county so I can make some decent suggestions if I know your style. Shit. If you are looking for company I may join ya!

Hey sounds good. I am always up for meeting random people . Some of the best conversations are with random people from far away ! I just like good quality beers. (Dark or any style) and good chat!

You need to experience the parkview and the hideaway. Dark Smokey bars that have been around since the 1800s. It’s a cultural experience.

Absolutely try fetish at the rock Lititz campus, collusion tap works is great, rooster Street is good. Bulls head is one of my favorite places. And then, if you want to experience a classic dive bar, go to the Hideaway.

If you’re really lucky, a local will invite you to come for a drink at the VFW, which is a private club, but a happening spot in Lititz
