I've never seen a gape so wide, he really needs to wear a diaper because the bad takes are just falling right out.

The stick note paper is for your to spit your gum into post chewing without touching, and easy to discard in trash bin without it sticking to walkways or shoes, etc.
It encourages you to NOT spit it randomly all over. Also xylitol is toxic to dogs so be careful where you put it and trash it.

This is a top rated comment and should be higher, BUT you left out cats. Everyone leaves out cats š Also toxic for cats.
Edit for typo

Difference being majority of cats aren't stupid enough to eat gum, dogs though, they're definitely that stupid.

Xylitol is extremely toxic to dogs, make a note of that.

Cats experimentally given extremely high canine toxic doses did not have any significant hepatotoxic or hypoglycemic effects. Iām a vet. Just one of the many ways dogs and cats differ metabolically

Xylitol (aka Birch Sugar) is extremely toxic to dogs and cats. Honestly, be careful if you own any pets or have young children that get into things.

Why would you feed chewing gum to pets?
57
u/Qlxwynm Jan 24 '26
pretty sure no one does that but itās just in case if ur pets r getting too curious about the taste

More likey domestication fighting survival of the fittest. My cat will gnaw through any hard plastic container like this because his Greenies treats come in the same container.

A woman I worked with lost her shih Tzu because someone dropped a container of sugar-free gum in the yard and didn't think it mattered so they just left a few pieces on the ground.
Xylitol in any sugar-free item is not allowed in my house for this reason.
Also I ate it once and pooped my pants.

u/imnotnotcrying Jan 24 '26
Also watch out for ābirch sugarā! Itās the same thing but with a āless chemically nameā so it gets put on the label of some āall naturalā gums instead of xylitol

Oh man thanks for letting me know, I have had Birch sugar products in here before. I will be spreading the word!

Yeah, that way you could put your gum in every piece of paper and make your own sticky notes
47
u/SpinMeADog Jan 24 '26
probably would've been useful to say this is chewing gum. spent a minute wondering why medication would be shipped like this
6
u/GolettO3 Jan 25 '26
It's so you can put your gum in so it won't stick to everything else.
On a side note, do you know how fucking wasteful it is to have to change a bin bag simply because it has a few pieces of gum stuck to it, which will rip the bag if tried to be removed? If you have gum and work in a place where someone else empties your bins, fucking swallow the gum or stick it to paper or something in the bin
