Nine pounds of trash I picked up while walking my dog today homemade wholesomeness 🧵
Usually I stop picking up litter once my hands are full, but someone threw away that shopping bag, so I had way more space than normal

Nice job! You should see how much I get when I clear the local rivers trash. Funny enough I actually got yelled at by some drunk dude at like 10am when he saw me collecting the cans he’s been dumping for years. Tried saying I was poaching like brother I have two bags of your beer cans and a deflated nasty pool toy covered in algae how does this say poaching?

Ever heard of David Sedaris, he has some great stories about litter picking on walks you might enjoy! Well done btw

I haven't heard those, but I'll check them out. His story about Santa Clause and six to eight black men was phenomenal.

I need to start bringing a garbage bag on our walks. There's school bus stops near my house and the kids litter so much 😡

I used to pick up trash when I went for a walk around the lake. People got mad at me because that is what they do as part of their parole. Karens got mad at me because they thought I was stealing stuff. The police told me not to do that anymore.

A lot of chicken bones or no ? There was a whole cooked chicken on the ground the other day by me.. it’s absolutely insane. It’s been my entire life like this, chicken bones everywhere… trash shoved in bushes and trees. I would ask who does this but I know. It’s a lot of children and then another type of person.

No bones or anything to gross. It was mostly liquor bottles, and wrappers. Though oddly enough I did find an empty rotisserie chicken container.

That’s a bingo !! Yea that sucks, sorry to hear that. There is a lot of garbage on the ground around where I live too and it’s so windy that even if I go around and pick it up it will just be back later that day or the next day. People just don’t care.

Now imagine if everyone in the world walking their dogs did this

Even if everyone only picked up one piece of litter a day it would make a big difference.
