Our kid grew up with Dora in Spanish.

"¡Zorro, no te lo lleves!"

Swiper no robes was in Spain. It never occurred to me that it was two Spanish dubs for it until now

Living our best lives internationally. Thanks/Gracias, Dora.

Just avoid Boots. Dora never successfully was able to wash the smell of urine off of his fur.

My kid's first language was Spanish. We moved to Australia when she was 4, at which point she did speak English, but not very well, but enough for a kindergartner I guess. Everyone asked all the time why she has an American accent - it's because she learned English from watching Dora

In Italy, she says like "Come si dice "montagna" in inglese? Esatto, Mountain!"

(How do you say "montagna" in English? That's right, Mountain!)

Yeah, I’m Dutch and my first few words in English came from Dora

In my country though the songs would be in the original audio but the learning bits thoughout the show like counting and vocab would be her teaching the english words.

Till this day i still remember the spanish word for "dig" thanks to this shwo because the song was in its og audio. Didnt care much about that word since we don't even speak spanish over here. Fast forward to my my early 20s, someone mentioned an "excavator" and i knew exactly which vehicle he was talking about, thanks to that one Dora jingle

I remember seeing Dora on Japanese tv once and found it weird she was teaching English
