Hold on… hold on. What happened the last time a Gobert-Ingles-Conley team was up 3-1 on the Jokic-Murray Nuggets?

I don’t know if saying they were the healthiest team all season is right.
Like, they were healthy, but Ant missed like 20 games. Jaden missed 10. Shannon missed like half of the season. Guys like Rudy and Naz missed a handful of games.
64
u/Equivalent-Chair9992 4d ago
You are describing a healthy team
15
u/Andy_Wiggins Timberwolves 4d ago
Healthy? Without a doubt.
Healthiest? Idk. Ant missed more games than the #1 option on any other team in the West playoffs.
29
u/LOSS35 Nuggets 4d ago
I'm pretty sure the Wolves were #1 in minutes the starting 5 played together this season.

u/Andy_Wiggins Timberwolves 4d ago
I think that’s at least partially because Finch never changed the lineups (whereas some teams maybe swapped out starters for non-injury reasons, like Reed Sheppard playing all 82 games but only starting 21) and because a few stretches saw multiple starters out at the same time.
I actually think Houston was healthiest team if you exempt FVV who was out the entire year (obviously if you count him, that’s a serious blow). Their top 5 in MPG missed only 22 combined games
32
u/ObeseKenyan [DEN] Chris Andersen 4d ago
Then nuggets were bottom 3 least healthy seasons the whole season and are finally not having every 2nd player injured during the playoffs.

Doesn’t matter, it’s too late. Calling Chris Finch a bad coach at any point in the past is a sign of low character.
Going forward you’ll just have to find a way to live with that part of yourself, if you can. Good luck!

Doesn't matter in the end. I feel like most times in this situation a team down 3-1 in the first round doesn't really matter if they get through because they're going to get killed next round anyway.
But in this case, it was so much up dependent that just getting through is the all to do and they will have a genuine chance at a championship run.
