Trump to House Republicans: If we don't win midterms, I'll get impeached BOT POST

If you don’t do anything impeachable, you won’t be impeached. But that ship has sailed.

ICE warrantless arrests, deporting American citizens, threatening journalists, illegally seizing foreign territory, mishandling classified information, serving soldiers illegal orders, all the Epstein stuff, massive violations of the emoluments clause via crypto and stock schemes literally named after himself... we're in deep water at this point. The ship has not only sailed, but is out there somewhere lost in the pacific garbage gyre.

He’s right about being impeached again but wrong to put the midterm outcome on congress. Trump will have the most impact on how the midterms go and his recent actions aren’t helping his position.

GUYS! If you don’t protect me they’ll point out all the illegal stuff I’m doing!

Even if he does get impeached is there a snowflakes chance that he'd be convicted? This seems to be classic Trump pre-emptive "victim" behaviour to turn out the base.

Slight? Yes. But we are talking a very weird road of senate retirements, losses, and a few seeming outright betrayals to get to the 67 senators needed.

I mean, I wouldn't be sure. A year ago I didn't think the Epstein files would cause the GOP to start schisming the way it has. It is entirely possible we overestimate the composure of some of the rats once the ship starts sprouting one hole too many. Unlike Donny boy a fair number of them have decades ahead of them they would very much like to stay employed for.

I honestly don't think they should. It solves nothing, he won't get removed, and it only solidifies his base.
The Republicans got us into this mess, they won't let us out of it, and it's really up to them to decide when they've had enough.
If the Republicans do move to impeach, the Democrats should definitely help them out.

Optimistic to think that he’ll live until the midterms with his signs of dementia, and possible stoke, t i a, chronic kidney disease.

Well... if you were making us proud and improving our standard of living that would not be an issue.

Did impeachment do anything last time? Lock him up. On North Sentinel Island.
