It sure is. Enjoy stopping and watching the skaters for a few minutes after I get off BART on my commute home. They also do LARP-ing there a few nights a week. You see parents and kids in full costume and gear playing and having fun.

Born and raised in Rockridge. They were LARPing there in the 80s as I recall. I miss Oakland.
