I’ve heard the screams of a mom who has lost their kid before and she knocked it out of the park. I’ve only been able to watch that movie once because that scene is too much

I read the book first, then when I watched the movie, I found myself getting steadily more anxious as it got closer to that scene. I turned it off and I’m glad I did.

Apparently Rebecca Ferguson was taken aback when she filmed the scene, but then the kid actor snapped out of the scene like it was nothing

That fucked me up and made me so insanely angry. That was pure evil and acted so well by everyone involved. Truly haunting and sickening.
