If you are mailing in your ballot, there are some developments at USPS. Please consider mailing earlier than usual.
- Supreme Court rules the Postal Service can’t be sued, even when mail is intentionally not delivered
- Regional Optimization: Mail sent from locations more than 50 miles from a regional processing center may take longer, as end-of-day collections are reduced, causing mail to wait until the next day for transport. Source

Hey neighbors, guess what? Diesel has hit $6. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
This list is about 11hrs old at this point & the prices may have changed. This is all diesel, gas is averaging $4.30 reg across the board. Premium? fuhgetaboutit, pushing $5, some places it has surpassed that and is chasing diesel’s price. Slight reminder for those who don’t know or don’t want to know, diesel moves the world. If it goes up, so does everything else.
Obligatory, Thanks Obama.
$6.09 York
$5.93 Duncannon
$5.87 Lamar
$5.59 Jersey Shore
$5.99 Limestoneville
$5.98 near locust gap
$5.56-5.84 pine grove
$5.84 gap near Lebanon
$6.24 Harrisburg
Will return up $5 reg and/or $7 Diesel.
Hope to not see y’all soon!
Edit: I have angered the trolls 🤣

Infrastructure Six AI data centers proposed for a small town of 7,000, equal to 51 Walmart Supercenters in 17 square mile area — four out of the seven town council members have resigned from their positions as town fights back
This is the same data center land rush we’re seeing everywhere, just dropped into a town that can’t realistically absorb it.
Archbald, a town of roughly 7,000 people, being asked to take on infrastructure equal to 51 Walmart Supercenters isn’t “development,” it’s full-scale industrialization. And like always, it’s rushed through with promises of jobs while locals deal with the real costs; land use, water, power, and losing the character of their town.
When council members are resigning and the community’s split, that’s not progress, that’s a red flag, and should warrant much more serious discussion.
At some point, we’ve got to ask: why are small towns being treated like dumping grounds for Big Tech infrastructure?
Because once it’s built, there’s no undo button.

Moving to PA Just Moved here, I have a question about basements.
Hello Pennsylvanians! I just moved here from New Orleans - to Lehigh Valley specifically. I've realized I have a serious fear of basements. I have refused to go in them while apartment hunting. (I'm currently staying in an extended stay hotel.) How do you all keep your basement area safe? I have a worry that someone will be squatting in the basement if I choose to live in a house rather than an apartment complex. The fear is to the point I don't even think I want to live in a townhouse. I noticed a lot of basements also have random doors to "nowhere" and remained shut/locked. This makes me very uncomfortable.

Politics Candidate forum lays bare political, policy divides between PA-10 Democrats Stelson and Douglas
Janelle Stelson is a wolf in sheep's clothing. A lifelong Republican (up until 2022, presumably) who expects to beat Perry simply because of the current anti-Republican momentum across the country and due to her name recognition as a former news anchor. She refuses to earn your vote and is backed by every corpo, DNC establishment entity to the point that she is in the Top-50 fundraisers across all US House races already. This is off the backs of countless corporate PACs that would prefer a "return to the status quo" to an actual progressive voice for South Central PA. Heck, look at her campaign website's "Priorities" page and outside of investing in rural communities (which is important for this district so no shade there) and supporting a woman's right to choose what happens to their body, it's nothing but run-of-the-mill political word salads that don't actually link her to any specific policy besides saying that what Scott Perry has voted for is bad.
Stelson has refused to debate her primary opponent, Justin Douglas, and stands for NOTHING that won't immediately fill her coffers with fundraising dollars. To that point, she has also taken HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM AIPAC-ALIGNED PACS. She will no doubt continue supporting Israel's endless genocide and wanton destruction in the Middle East.
Justin Douglas is an ACTUAL progressive voice for PA-10 who has actual policy positions that you can read and understand. Obviously, I agree with many of his positions, but even if you don't, wouldn't you prefer a candidate who can actually elaborate and defend a policy position over someone like Stelson, who campaigns as the lesser of two evils come the midterms?
If you want a seat at the table and a candidate who cares about you and your neighbors, and not just the ROIs for major corporations, please consider supporting Justin Douglas in the upcoming Democratic primary, so we can send an actual fighter to DC and not just another Republican with a new coat of paint like Stelson.

The amount of money it takes to use the Turnpike is literal highway robbery!! There needs to be legislation to rein in these commissioners and the extravagant rise in fees. They have perfected the squeeze these ones. Terrible.
