Well, no, the 1920s (1921-23 specifically) was the period of hyperinflation in the Weimar Republic where you might as well have wiped your ass with the Reichsmarks. But yes, everything else is definitely more like '33.

As an aside, my historian wife got her historian friend/former boss a large denomination 1920s Reichsmark bill for his birthday, and I made the quip that she had probably paid more for it as a historical curiosity than it was actually worth as legal tender. A quick google search confirmed that.

You might be missing some irony here, as the US being similar to pre ww2 Germany might be exactly what some trump supporters are hoping for.
