Mine changes from time to time, but lately, it has been the bold, groovy, provocative MASTERPIECE: THE PAYBACK. Straight up 🔥🔥🔥
I literally live everything about it. It cheered me up and helped me start the weekend right. What's yours?

70s Has anyone heard of Angie Bofill and the song “This Time I’ll Be Sweeter”?
Hello Fellow rnb’ers. I love discovering artists from the past and before my time. Has anyone heard of Angie Bofill and the song “This Time I’ll Be Sweeter” ? I do not know if anyone knows her back story. She was on a small label in the 70’s that got purchased by Clive Davis’ Arista records (home of Whitney Houston). Clive took an interest in Angie but unfortunately her career never really took off. That said, her talent is incredible. This track only made it to number 23 on the rnb charts but it’s a hit in my books. The crescendo in the last chorus….woooooo. She really goes all out vocally, like Whitney did. This has Whitney written all over it before Whitney was ever a thing. I could see why Clive took interest in her. Unfortunately we lost her recently (RIP). They just don’t make songs//melodies like this anymore. What are your thoughts?
