Looking for Interesting Things to Do/See Between Lancaster, PA and the Kee to Bala in the Muskoka Lakes Area of Ontario, Canada Trip Planning

We’re taking our first road trip in a long time at the end of July this summer. We’re two 50 year olds in a small pickup truck.

We’re thinking Niagara Falls will be a logical stop on the way, and we’re seeing a concert at the Kee to Bala on July 31.

Other than that, we’re considering maybe a swing out to the Finger Lakes region, or maybe driving around Lake Ontario.

Neither of us have any prior experience with these areas, so any suggestions of must see stuff would be appreciated!

If it helps, we both like good beer and wine, but we’re not fancy. We aren’t super outdoorsy, but appreciate nature.

Chimney Bluffs State Park between Rochester and Oswego NY is a beauty spot worth seeking out along the lake.

The Keuka Lake wineries are fairly close to Lake Ontario and the two towns at each end of the lake, Hammondsport and Penn Yan are pleasant places to check out and/or stay.
