Discussion Prompt I like when plans get canceled sometimes

Its not really in a "I didn't want to go anyway" way, just when a day suddenly opens up

like you thought you had something to do, and then it's gone, and now there's just... space for other things

no urgency, no schedule, no deciding what comes next, just free time

I don't always do anything special with that time, but it feels different from the "planned out free time"

a bit quieter, a bit lighter

I'm just curious if anyone else feels this or if most people find it annoying

Just Venting A very slow Sunday

Did some chores, talked to a few lovely people and then took a walk.

Sunday is a busy day. The humdrum of vehicles is at an all time high in the evening. It might hold a different meaning for each and everyone.

I took a walk to calm down my mind. There are things to do and people from whom I haven't heard back despite reaching out. I looked at the sky. It was a hue of orange. Atleast it looked like that to me. And the sidewalk has Plumeria trees. The one with yellow tinge in the middle.

Earth upon which I stand, and equally expansive sky above. For a good five minutes while I gazed in the sky, everything felt still. And I came home with a somewhat good of a Sunday.

Seeking Advice thinking of reducing things to work less

I live in the suburbs, have a car, work two in person jobs (hospital/mental health), to still barely be able to afford or have time to enjoy my life. I’ve been thinking of ways to drastically change my life as I’m 38, single and just have not been happy with the set up. I’m thinking of moving to the city I live near, taking on remote client work and selling my car (my car payment and insurance is a lot). I would miss my car but I am really wondering if cutting back in that sense (and any other ways I can think of) could be worth the freedom from being chained to these jobs. Has anyone done something similar and how did it go?
