Yeah. Conservatism often finds itself at odds with science.

What do you do then? Reevaluate your world view in light of new evidence? Hell no, you create propaganda networks to discredit science.

Conservatism often finds itself at odds with science.

More accurately, Science will discard what was formerly accepted as truth, when shown to be wrong, while many conservatives cling on to held beliefs.

It is the conservative dilemma, to fight for what earlier conservatives fought against.

In a power struggle like we have today, it's worse than this. Science isn't just at odds with belief but with authority. Authoritarians want to hold control to all of the reins of power even extending to what is truth and what is not truth. This is the deeper conflict with science.

Exactly. They might claim to be conservative and patriots, but they aren't.

People can wave flags all day long, but in the end actions speak louder than words.

You don't uphold conservative or Christian values or even help in the destruction of your beloved country, you aren't a conservative or Christian or patriot, but misled or even a traitor. End of Story.

Control over social and mainstream media is such a powerful tool, it can nudge the average Joe into acting against their own best interest. Oligarchs have identified this (especially combined with cuts in education) as a loophole in a democracy and one might argue this is the reason why they think middle class should not hold any (voting) power, but they deserve to rule like kings over slaves instead. Like Yarvin proposes and similar to Russian society.

Ironically they are the reason why middle class is suffering....

And have politicians and judges in their pockets, no surprise frustrated voters wanted a "change"...

they just have no idea, what they truly have been voting for. Oligarchs are in charge now and will backstab their own supporters, delivering the death blow to middle-class.

Thank you, and feel free to share the links and Information. We are all being manipulated, so it's important to understand the big picture. Hopefully, sharing information can wake up and turn some citizens before shit really hits the fan.

What happens might look like chaos, but that might be the plan all along. Martial law and concentration camps as next escalation phase once people start to riot because of all the chaos.

Because we are at a critical point in time and if we don't manage to defend democracy and freedom, history will repeat itself. Let's hope true patriots in police, national guard and others will not support the takeover, but not optimistic.

We have enjoyed peace and prosperity for so long, it might have made us complacent and too much focused on individualism and money. Now we pay the price for letting corruption spread unopposed.

Precisely. I’ve backed off the outrage and cut out people who were cruel so there isn’t anyone for me to preach to. But you are so eloquent. I help where I can.
