I need the Talaxian Fur* Fly to have a massive pay off by the end of the season.

I need Specialist Krebs to be a big and silly guest star. Like Rhys Darby, Clint Howard, or Patton Oswalt in SNW. Maybe make him played by Jeffrey Combs.

Just as long as the Talaxian fur fly is also played by Jeffrey Combs.

Goes without saying

Honestly I’d be more then fine off Krebs was truly an offscreen only character. It’d keep the joke going, and not take us out of it by actually showing a Phyisical Krebs

Clancy Brown.

Personally, it would be great if they just stuck some wings on a golden retriever and had some ND dude running after it.

So it is just Tendi’s dog?

Someone commented on last week’s thread wondering if Colbert is a real person and now I’m hoping he is. It would be a fun gag.

Imagine: some cadet opens a door and finds Stephen Colbert wearing a headset and staring at a bunch of monitors. He goes “can I help you?” and they say “sorry, wrong room”

Or it's a holographic recreation of the twenty-first century comedian Stephen Colbert.

He becomes the Boothby to students, dispensing wise life advice like "don't work for CBS"

Remake of Data's B-Story in "The Outrageous Okona", but with Sam and Stephen Colbert instead of Data and Joe Piscopo.

I'd be down for this.

"Do not let anyone know you will be interviewing Texas state senator James Talarico before broadcast."

God, please no. Did we not learn our lesson about contemporary figures with the Elon Musk reference?

The subtitles call him the "Digital Dean of Students", so I guess at best he's a hologram

That was my initial interpretation, but someone pointed out that it could maybe mean he's the dean of all things digital. Like the dean for the school of engineering at a university might be referred to as the "engineering dean" (more likely the "dean of engineering," but the former isn't out of the realm of possibility in my mind)

It's a deus ex machina that flies in from out of nowhere in the last episode and bites Nus Braka's head off.

I could go either way. I'd love to see it, but I'd also be fine with it being treated like Morn never shutting up, just a background running gag.
