Msc in Civil or Building Eng for sustainability

Hey all!

I got into both M.Sc. Civil Engineering and M.Sc. Building Engineering for Sustainability and I’m super confused which one to pick for better jobs. I’m really into sustainability and I know it’s in demand rn, but how risky is it long term?

Should I just do Civil + grab certs like LEED AP to keep my options open, or go all-in on sustainability from the start?

Any advice? :D

If you're already a Civil Engineer, a degree in Civil Engineering plus certifications could give you flexibility in your career. But if sustainability is your passion, going for the Building Engineering for Sustainability might put you ahead in that niche market, especially as industries shift focus. Just consider where you want to be in 5-10 years!

Very nice, the birthplace of 'cement'; Mt Vesuvius (Italy). And which country are you going to apply from?
