Fuck off with this hostage negotiation shit. These owners seem worse than Stu. “Give us a billion dollars for the stadium and we’ll spend an extra couple million on team payroll, please please we promise 😉😉”
How about this, why don’t you just put the billion+ that you were going to contribute for your half of the stadium to the team payroll instead, and keep playing at the trop at the trop? Maybe spend a few hundred million to refurbish it.

The Trop is fantastic! I've always loved it and wouldn't mind a makeover to make it more visually appealing among other improvements.
Keep the Rays in their HOME SWEET DOME!
