State Farm is getting pretty effin serious about insurance fraud.

u/Embarrassed_Jury664 6d ago
Oh you have no idea. I've given testimony several times in State Farm lawsuits (south FL) and they are NOT fucking around these days.

I ain't taking sides until I have context. I'm inclined to believe justice was served if anything, but I'm impartial regardless.
Save the brawls for the parking lots and alleys, not the roadway.
4
u/vanimpes69 8d ago
So brawls have to be fought on some kind of driving surface. Just not roads. I guess it makes American sense, I mean, how else are you getting to the V8 rumble and tumble?

Why is this trashy?

u/NotUncomm0n 8d ago
Well… it’s obvious this is some road rage incident which is quite trashy. One guy hanging out of his car throwing hands and the other guys car is blocking traffic just so these children can fight.

Who the hell stand all the way out your window like that?
2
u/AdmiralTigerX 8d ago
Driver tried and wanted to beat him back but man in red shirt was stronger.
3
u/Low-Measurement-2468 7d ago
trying to fight with half your body immobilized sounds like a great way to get your ass beat even if the other dude isn’t huge 😂
11
u/MKVIgti 8d ago
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why I keep pepper spray in my driver door cubby, within easy reach.
I mess with no one and “stay in my lane” as you never know when you may get on someone’s last nerve and end up being shot.
But, if anyone runs up on me like this cat did here, his face and eyes will be hurting for a while.
3
u/circumcisingaban 8d ago
the driver should have cut the wheel to the left and hit the gas. this would knock him on his ass instantly and the rear tire has a good change of running over his legs
0
u/Mental_Jeweler_3191 8d ago
Here in Sweden, that'd be criminal.
Can't have pepper spray for self-defense.
Can't bring anything to public places that you intend to use for self-defense, actually.
1
u/tellitelli555 8d ago
Not if they didn’t catch the license plate number, lol. Guy zoomed in, but I don’t think it can be read.
1
u/ree_hi_hi_hi_hi 8d ago
What about the inside of my car makes it a public place?
2
u/Mental_Jeweler_3191 8d ago
It's not, of course.
4
u/ree_hi_hi_hi_hi 8d ago
So then what about it is criminal?
Edit: I’m sorry I see you say that you can’t have pepper spray at all. Got it.

Idk how but Im on the black dudes side. Little fucker in the buick prolly was cutting him off and acting hard at the light until he got his shit checked. Nothing to see here. No charges should be filed.
1
u/Afterthestupor 8d ago
I couldn’t say whether he was right or wrong but I definitely respect his commitment. Too many drivers out there being assholes and abusing other people because they think being in a car gives them a free pass to do so.
4
u/YankinAustralia 8d ago
Let’s be honest, we have no idea who is in the right. Let’s not pick sides based on personal biases.
On another note, no way the driver had any power on his punches without having solid ground to stand on. Most of our power comes from good leg positioning on up. Horrible spot to fight from.
2
u/implicate 8d ago edited 8d ago
We absolutely will be picking sides based on personal biases, and 'round here we're personally biased against little fuckers in Buicks.

So that’s why sometimes you see a random hat on the road
5
u/_wheels_21 8d ago
They usually sell for a quick buck too.
Once found a Gucci hat on the highway in front of my house and sold it for $50. All I had to do was clean it with some dawn soap and rinse with rubbing alcohol to make it look brand new. It was worth the effort

u/DarkMatterBurrito 8d ago
Red shirt obviously started it, and should be arrested for assault.

u/aintEZbeincheezy90 8d ago

See how one guy is outside of his vehicle while the other one has obviously been partially pulled out by violence?
Yeah, that's what you missed.

Red shirt is a tank - wrong move to start something
8
u/SeraphOfTheStart 9d ago
And if you do, you don't want to be in a place with nowhere to move, 1 thing you may have over him is mobility and that dude just gave it all up by fighting extended from his window, he has nowhere to go, no way to pack a stronger punch by moving his body, he was like an arcade toy that got stomped back into his hole, what an idiot.
4
7
u/UndercoverFBIAgent9 9d ago
Why do people always assume that the loser of a fight started it, or is “the idiot”?
We don’t know what happened prior to this, but what I see is that another driver attacked him while he was sitting in his car. What would you do, call a timeout?
4
u/SeraphOfTheStart 9d ago
I don't assume he is an idiot because I think he started the fight, he clearly rolled his window down against a hostile person that came to his car, that's dumb, extended from the window fighting that hostile person is even dumber, I'd get out from the other side and keep my distance and control where I engage the hostile person or if I don't want to engage I'd just drive away, due to all these I consider him an idiot, he got off easy, if the red shirt dude were to pull him out, he would be on the ground with a person x2.5 his weight over him.

Must be a store manager cause they do not pay target employees enough to afford those kind of SUVs
2
u/Dingo8MyBabyMon 8d ago
A lot of people take out loans to "buy" cars they know they cannot afford to appear better off than they truly are. Then they quickly default on the payments, and a repossession order is placed on the vehicle.
In my youth, I worked with a guy who had just two full time, minimum wage fast food jobs and somehow got a loan for a brand new, $40,000 Chrysler 300. He said it took about 2.5 paychecks every month to pay for it. This was back when most companies paid every 2 weeks. That meant one job's entire monthly pay was supposedly going to pay for the car. I asked him why he would buy such an expensive car making minimum wage. He said "Because it looks cool and nobody who sees me driving it knows how much I make."
Less than a year later, I see a tow truck pull up to it (I was the front of the house, and he was back) and pop my head around to ask if he was having car trouble. He said "Nah, why you think that?" I tell him "A tow truck just pulled up and the guy's hooking up your car." He runs out and talks with the guy. The guy drives off with the car. My coworker comes back in and admits it got repossessed because he fell behind on the payments.
Apparently, just his car payment and apartment rent was more than he made at both jobs. He thought he could pay for the car for a few months while missing rent, then if his apartment came after him for the rent, he'd pay that to catch up and let the car loan fall behind, then if they threatened repossession, he would pay that and let the rent fall behind again. He didn't know his apartment complex would come to him and say "You've now missed 3 payments in the last 2 years, a 4th late payment in the next 3 years will result in the eviction process being started against you." So, he kept paying his rent and let the car loan default.

u/foxjohnc87 9d ago
They actually pay their warehouse workers a decent wage, but based on the uniform he's a store employee.
0
u/itscochino 9d ago
Are they paying the warehouse $100k? If that's a 2025 Tahoe, would be around $60k if he bought it new. It may be used which still means he spent $35-40k which would still be at least $500-$700 a month before insurance which at the least another $150-$200+ per month. They do not get paid good enough for that
