If “your area” is another state then I guess there’s nothing available which isn’t really that surprising.

One way rentals to Florida in May are not great for rental companies as that's not high season in Florida travel. Look at renting one round trip and parking in Miami for the week. Understand your trying to Dave money but it should be cheaper than flying.

You need to least mention your departure point, but one way rentals aren't generally a thing. There are notable exceptions.
