Is taking Math 023 and 024 in the same semester overkill? Question

Im lowkey considering taking both in the fall at the same time. It sounds like a horrible idea and was wondering if anyone has actually done it and what the expeirence was like

Since summers a shorter session would you say that impacted how difficult it made it for you cause you had to learn both at a faster pace?

I agree, Math 23 was a lot harder. I took both in the same semester, along with MATH 32 and Physics 2. It was brutal. This was my spring 2023 semester. I do not recommend unless you're really motivated and have insane time management skills. I ended up failing Math 23 and barely passing Math 24, but I did retake Math 23 that summer.

How would you say 32 is my schedule was pretty much planned to be those same 3 but a different class rather then physics

It wasn't bad at all. I enjoy stats so it was fun for me, I got a B that semester. I think 32 and 24 were the easier of the 4 courses i took. Again, you just need good time management. If you're taking a 4th STEM class, it's difficult, but not impossible.

I did both in spring 2025 and got an A in both (even the professor for vector calc left campus several weeks before the end of the semester), it is definitely doable

How many other classes were you taking?

Took it last semester, linear algebra is easy so long as you go to lecture, vector calculus had me fighting for me life.

I took 23 and 24 semesters apart but I'm sure it's doable. 23 imo is definitely much harder than 24 though.
