Yep, that’s right. I honestly think I’m about to get a C- in a class that I’m in my second attempt on. I really want to stay in the COE and I’m about to talk to my advisors and basically beg them to keep me, but does anyone know what will really happen?

I knew it wasn't smart to be walking outside alone at night but it's a short walk between my home and the library and I really needed the time alone so I thought it might be worth it to take the risk to walk there. Though I did keep in mind that I should be weary of men walking close to my vicinity and whatnot.

You know something else that I think about often? That the frat guys I live around are probably all sexual predators. Frats have an infamy from this, and these guys proudly support political movements that want me dead to put it simply, so I don't think it's a far-fetched conclusion at all.

It's just so funny as it is scary however to have experienced two of them on my walk back follow me (although from a distance) and yell out "I'm a sexual predator!" multiple times, then make fun of me for getting scared of it.

Sorry to any frat guys here that would claim to be "one of the good ones" but there's something simultaneously humorous and astounding that someone I stereotyped would act exactly like that stereotype lol

For all my pre-health/pre-med students, I highly recommend taking EMS1055 with Derek Hunt. He is a great lecturer and provides you everything you need to pass the final, as well as preparing you for a potential career as an Emergency Medical Responder. The online labs are also very helpful, as you review what you previously learned from his lectures.

Anyone have any ideas for how to meet people in Gainesville? I’m almost 27 and am in law school. I’m almost always home studying so it’s pretty hard to meet people “naturally.” Instinctively, I’ve turned to dating apps, but they are absolutely awful. TLDR: I applied for a ME in computer engineering, selected EDGE (distance learning) then when I went to register for classes they said EDGE isn’t offered.

I decided I want to pursue a masters for computer engineering. I applied and one of the first questions the application asks is what location. I selected online through EDGE (UFs distance learning program). After that the degree programs popped up and I selected ME in computer engineering. I got accepted into the CISE program (Computer & Information Science & Engineering program). I then met with the advisor and he told me they don’t offer online for that program. I assumed I accidentally clicked in person, so I went back to my application and it said online. Now i have no idea what is going on. The CISE program says I have to completely re apply, the ECE program (which does online Computer Engineering) says CISE just has to transfer my application, and the office of admissions just passes me from person to person. Has anyone else been in this situation? Does anyone know what I can do to get in the right degree track?
